The role:

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join their team.

The organization operates a hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office per week and 2 days remote.

This position involves a blend of Microsoft Azure, 365, Infrastructure Engineering, and Security work, covering both BAU and project activities.

Responsibilities:

• Migration from on-premises to fully Cloud-based Infrastructure (Azure)
• Providing expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
• Automation via IaC and DevOps methodologies where appropriate
• Managing End-of-Life (EoL) and decommissioning of legacy technology
• Writing technical documentation
• Managing patching processes
• Supporting the firm's transition to a fully Cloud-based environment
• Security:
• Designing and enforcing security and access management policies
• IAM management
• Threat monitoring and detection using Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, SIEM, etc.
• Adhering to security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, GDPR
