Job summary

Squarepoint is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Developer. The role focuses on hands-on engineering with a strong emphasis on automation, spanning both cloud and on-prem environments. You will work across technology and trading teams to design and evolve scalable infrastructure.

Ideal candidates are proficient in Python, Go, or Rust and have experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), IaC, monitoring, logging, tracing, and modern config management. A degree in CS/Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud providers and infrastructure automation is expected.
• A strong emphasis on automation and programmatic infrastructure is required.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve Squarepoint’s cloud environment using modern infrastructure engineering practices.
• Design and implement automation for provisioning, configuration management, and image-based deployments across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Develop internal tooling and APIs to abstract infrastructure complexity and improve productivity.
• Drive observability initiatives by building and integrating telemetry pipelines (metrics, logs, traces, alerting).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cloud infrastructure supports application scalability, reliability, and security.
