Job summary

Sensor Tower seeks a Platform Engineer to enhance infrastructure, developer tooling, and delivery workflows used by 100+ engineers. The role blends cloud infrastructure, automation, and software development to improve reliability and efficiency across CI/CD and observability.

You’ll work with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and modern tooling to accelerate releases while adopting best practices. A strong CS foundation and willingness to learn Ruby/Go are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining complex CI/CD workflows and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Improve developer experience by building tools and workflows for testing, building, and shipping software.
• Maintain infrastructure automation with Ansible, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Improve CI/CD reliability and performance across pipelines.
• Identify root causes of slow builds, failed pipelines, and flaky tests.
• Develop internal tooling, test infrastructure, and occasionally work on product features.
• Improve observability with OpenTelemetry, ELK, and related tooling.
• Explore AI-assisted engineering workflows and cloud-based agent tools.
