Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to manage our client's Cloud environment, focusing on design, implementation, and maintenance. The successful candidate will have previous experience in operating and deploying cloud-based services and applications, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.

This role involves project-based work, with opportunities to work on exciting business-critical projects, including cutting-edge technology implementations and some 3rd line support where necessary.

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive MS Suite experience – Windows Server administration, Office 365, Active Directory & Group Policy, Azure administration, design, support, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Intune.
• Experience in network topology, firewall management, and anti-virus software.
• Disaster recovery and vulnerability management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Public Cloud Infrastructure Management, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of Cloud resources to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization by implementing solutions to track performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance user experience and automate enhancements where possible.
• System Availability and Reliability by ensuring high availability and data integrity through proactive monitoring, alerting, backups, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Continuous Improvement by staying updated with the latest Cloud & Infrastructure technologies, evaluating and proposing system enhancements, and ensuring ongoing skills development through training and certifications.
