Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Technology Internal Audit Senior Manager (Cloud focus) based in London or Manchester with hybrid working. You will lead on technology internal audits, manage a portfolio of engagements, and shape risk oversight for FTSE-100 and multinational clients.

You’ll develop staff, drive business development, and present findings to Audit Committees, while ensuring testing aligns with Grant Thornton methodologies and delivering value through cloud governance and security

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology internal audits across complex environments.
• Proven ability to manage large portfolios and lead diverse teams.
• Strong cloud governance, security, data protection and IT resilience knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology internal audits and manage staff.
• Oversee multiple technology audit engagements and client relationships.
• Support business development and upsell services.
• Lead planning conversations and draft audit terms of reference/audit plans.
• Provide SME input and ensure testing per Grant Thornton methodologies.
• Oversee junior staff and ensure quality of work.
• Hold close-out meetings with clients and write reports.
• Present findings to Audit Committees and senior management.
• Develop new technology risk service lines, incl. Cloud assurance.
• Manage WIP, invoices and budgets for engagements.
• Lead annual audit planning.
