Job summary

Energize Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a multinational IT team focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows infrastructure with emphasis on Intune and MDM. The role mixes hands-on administration with project work across infrastructure and end-user support.

You will operate and develop Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID environments, manage Windows Server and AD, and participate in deployments, migrations and on-call duties within a hybrid Cologne/Bonn based setting.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience within Microsoft systems administration / IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Good hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Mobile Device Management.
• Experience with VMware, Horizon or Azure Virtual Desktop would be advantageous.
• Understanding of IT service management / ITIL principles.
• Comfortable combining technical administration, user support and project work.
• German: C1 minimum; English skills beneficial for international environment.

• Coordinate external IT service providers and monitor SLAs.
• Contribute to Incident, Request and Change Management and IT process improvements.
• Participate in the 24/9 on-call programme.

The Company

Our client is an established international organisation within the transport and logistics sector, operating business-critical services across Europe.

Technology plays a central role in its day-to-day operations, supporting both corporate users and operational employees working across an international network. They are now strengthening their internal IT team with a Systems Engineer focused on Microsoft infrastructure, endpoint management and IT operations.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on position combining Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows infrastructure, with a particular focus on Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management.

You’ll work across both infrastructure and operational IT, supporting users while contributing to projects, migrations and the continued development of the company's Microsoft environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and develop Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID environments.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and file/print services.
• Manage and optimise Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management.

• Participate in the company's 24/9 on-call programme.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience within Microsoft systems administration / IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Good hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Mobile Device Management.
• Experience with VMware, Horizon or Azure Virtual Desktop would be advantageous.
• Understanding of IT service management / ITIL principles.
• Comfortable combining technical administration, user support and project work.
• SAP, HR or Finance application exposure would be beneficial but isn't essential.
• Strong service mentality and confident communicating with both technical and non-technical users.
• Structured, solution-oriented and able to remain effective in time-sensitive situations.
• German: C1 minimum.
• English skills are beneficial within the international environment.
