Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer in the West of England. In this role, you will be responsible for building and supporting shared hosting services, utilizing tools such as Kubernetes and GCP. Your work will involve continuous process improvements and DevOps practices, ensuring that software is deployed smoothly in the cloud. You will also engage in CI/CD automation and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring scalability and security controls are maintained while driving innovation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation with cloud platforms preferably GCP.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments alongside multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong Cloud Engineering and DevOps background preferably GCP.
• Proven experience configuring & running production workloads in Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding & experience of Observability, SRE, DevSecOps & FinOps.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the build & support for shared hosting services such as Kubernetes.
• Focus on cloud engineering elements of software engineering role.
• Learn and implement best use of DevOps tools & cloud resources.
• Create and improve routes to live with automation including blue/green & canary strategies.
