Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Senior GCP Cloud SRE Engineer to join our Public Cloud Platform in a hybrid UK role. You will drive reliability, automate infrastructure, and build scalable cloud services for the group and its clients.

You will work with Terraform, GKE, and modern observability tools, delivering resilient Google Cloud solutions and supporting rapid cloud adoption across teams.

Qualifications

Hands-on Google SRE experience with strong SRE principles.
GCP and Terraform certification or demonstrable proficiency.
Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes internals, and cloud tooling.

Responsibilities

Drive GCP Site Reliability Engineering practices for high availability and performance.
Own IaC with Terraform for consistent cloud provisioning.
Implement and operate SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to improve reliability.
Build end-to-end observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace and GCP Monitoring.
Lead incident management, RCA, and triage for GKE/Kubernetes workloads.
Automate workflows with Python scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
Enforce secure, compliant cloud environments via IaC and policy controls.
Triage P1/P2 issues in Google Kubernetes or Google Cloud Run Serverless.
