Cloudscaler is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS) to design, build and operate secure cloud platforms for government and private sector clients. You will work onsite in London with travel to customer sites and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

The role involves automation, IaC using Terraform, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and ensuring platform security across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud resources using Terraform or other IaC.
• Strong Python skills for Lambda or equivalent serverless development.
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of the Shared Responsibility model and cloud security concepts.
• Experience with security guardrails (SCPs/Config) across cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of multi-cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) basics and landing zones.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, package, deploy and operate cloud platforms and tooling.
• Automate the build of cloud infrastructure resources.
• Create and manage containerised services and serverless deployments.
• Develop IaC using Terraform (or CloudFormation) and Packer.
• Deliver platform improvements and new tooling for clients.
• Operate within an agile environment.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters.
