Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer in the United Kingdom to design, build and maintain secure AWS environments in a large-scale cloud setting. You will create infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK and automate provisioning using Python, Bash, PowerShell or AWS CLI.

The role involves supporting CI/CD pipelines and applying AWS security, monitoring and cost optimization practices.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ hands-on AWS Cloud Engineering or Operations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, networking and cloud security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK).
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiar with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps or GitLab CI.

What we’re looking for

• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator would be beneficial, as would experience supporting enterprise systems and working with ITIL or service‑management frameworks.
