Eighteen Eight Data Solutions in London is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure behind market-data products. You will manage real-time streaming APIs, client platforms, and large-scale data pipelines, working hands-on with Terraform, Terraform modules, and release pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Strong Python for automation.
• Excellent Linux/bash skills.
• Clear communication with engineers, product managers, and platform teams.
• Existing right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AWS infrastructure with Terraform across multi-account estates.
• Own GitLab CI pipelines for a large Nx monorepo and services.
• Run production workloads across API Gateway, Lambda, EKS/Kubernetes, MSK, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudFront.
• Develop observability via structured logging, CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana dashboards, and alerting.
• Support data pipelines with Airflow, Snowflake, and Kafka/Flink workloads.
• Diagnose production issues with a methodical, evidence-first approach.
