Job summary

The French Sourcer is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure in a UK-based role. You will manage multi-cluster Kubernetes, implement Terraform-managed resources, and drive CI/CD pipelines across engineering teams.

You will own monitoring, security and cost-optimisation while collaborating with security and software teams to ensure compliant, reliable deployments in a remote-friendly UK setting.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE role.
  • Proven hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
  • Solid infrastructure design and maintenance with Terraform.
  • Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience building/operating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting and observability tools.
  • Knowledge of container security, secrets management, and access controls.
  • Experience managing production incidents end-to-end.
  • Ability to troubleshoot across apps, containers, networks, and cloud services.
  • Proficient with Git, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Clear communication with software engineers and security teams.

  • Leading incident response and documenting corrective actions through postmortems.
  • Improving platform performance, resilience, scalability, and recovery processes.
  • Working with security and engineering teams to implement access controls and compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring infrastructure usage and identifying opportunities to reduce cloud costs.
  • Maintaining technical documentation, runbooks and procedures.

What you'd actually work on

What we're looking for
  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE role

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across applications, containers, networks, and cloud services
  • Experience working with Git, code reviews, and automated testing
  • Clear communication with software engineers, security teams, and other technical stakeholders
