Job description

Cloud Development Security & Operations Engineer

CK Group is recruiting for a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site in Wrexham on a 12-month contract.

1. Support the business in managing the cloud infrastructure of Atom5 cloud software.
2. Oversee, monitor, document, and improve security practices related to Azure Cloud and network infrastructure.
3. Take initiative in automating development and release processes, code and artefact management, and Continuous Integration and Deployment.
4. Support compliance and quality teams in documenting processes related to Atom5 QA, infrastructure, and security setup/practices.
5. Have an understanding of the Linux user space.
6. Possess good knowledge of scripting using Bash or Python and networking.
7. Experience with public cloud offerings from major providers (Azure experience is a plus).
8. Manage metrics, monitoring, alerting, and logging systems such as Sensu, Graphite, ELK, Prometheus, CloudWatch.
