Job summary

Understanding Solutions is seeking an AWS Cloud Platform Architect to design and deliver a cloud-first platform for a major media/entertainment client. You will move high-performance workloads to AWS and enable remote access via cloud-based workstations with minimal latency.

The role emphasizes AWS networking, VPC design, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and remote-workstation platforms (WorkSpaces, DCV, Teradici, Citrix or equivalents).

Qualifications

I’m looking for a AWS Cloud Platform Architect to support the design and delivery of a new cloud-first platform for a major media and entertainment organisation.

The project is focused on moving highly performance-sensitive professional workloads into AWS, with users needing to access powerful cloud-based workstations remotely without compromising performance or latency.

The two key requirements for this role are: AWS Networking + Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

Key Experience Needed

• Strong hands-on AWS architecture experience

• Hybrid / remote connectivity

You’ll be working alongside experienced architects and engineers, taking complex user and application requirements and translating them into secure, scalable and high-performing AWS infrastructure.

The wider platform covers networking, storage, compute, identity, security and cost optimisation, with performance being a critical part of the project.
