Job description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Application Architect to join our Agentic Automation team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and manage robust, secure, and scalable web applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement large-scale web applications on Google Cloud Platform.
2. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure application architecture.
3. Provide expertise on Google Cloud services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Functions.
4. Apply knowledge of AI/ML concepts such as deep learning, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning.
5. Manage Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Gemini / Vertex AI Models.
6. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
7. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Deployment Manager.
8. Utilize Kubernetes (GKE) for container orchestration.
9. Use monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Stackdriver/Cloud Logging.
10. Design and implement RESTful APIs; understand API management platforms.
11. Work with databases like Firestore, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
12. Possess beneficial knowledge of Java and Google Apps Script.
13. Familiar with web technologies including HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
14. Develop and coordinate cloud architecture strategies.
15. Analyze application portfolios for efficiency improvements and deployment opportunities.
16. Create integration strategies for multiple IT systems with the cloud.
17. Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.
18. Participate in all phases of cloud application development, including testing and deployment.
19. Research emerging cloud technologies and document complex architectures.
20. Apply Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferably).
2. Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
5. Experience in FinTech, InsureTech, or E-commerce industries is advantageous.
