Job summary

The Best Connection Manchester is seeking an Experienced Cloth Cutter to join a well-established British clothing manufacturer’s production team. You will manually lay and cut fabrics, using table and band knives, to precise patterns on woven fabrics while upholding high quality standards.

The Best Connection Manchester is recruiting on behalf of a well-established British clothing manufacturer for an experienced Cloth Cutter to join their skilled production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused professional with a strong background in garment manufacturing and fabric cutting to work with high-quality woven fabrics in a supportive and established environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manual fabric laying and spreading
• Cutting fabrics to precise pattern specifications
• Operating table knives and band knives
• Working with woven, check and striped fabrics
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy throughout production

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years' cloth cutting experience

Experience using table knives and band knives

Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes

Experience working with woven fabrics

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:15 - 16:45
• Friday: 08:15 - 14:30
