Confidential Careers is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join a European CLO team, offering exposure to all stages of the CLO lifecycle from warehouse to close and beyond. You will work closely with portfolio managers, trading, research, and legal to develop expertise in credit funds.

The role provides a clear path toward a front-office career, with emphasis on operational excellence, risk awareness, and progression within a high-calibre credit platform in London or nearby markets.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years experience in CLO/loan operations or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of loan settlement and agency processes.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive in risk spotting.
• Ambition to develop towards a front office career.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leveraged loan settlement and lifecycle events.
• Reconcile positions and cash across systems and service providers.
• Monitor cash flows and ensure deal documentation compliance.
• Support onboarding of new CLOs and warehouses.
• Manage relationships with administrators, trustees and other service providers.
• Maintain robust controls, processes and data standards.
• Identify operational risks and support process improvement and automation.
• Contribute to wider team and firm-wide projects.
