Job summary

Bupa Clinics is seeking a Health Advisor to support Health Assessments and educate customers on healthier living. You will spend time with clients, collect accurate measurements, and explain clinical policies to promote lasting health improvements.

Educated to degree level in exercise physiology/sports science/nutrition, you will handle end-to-end records, build rapport with clients, and use motivational interviewing to drive positive changes in lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science or nutrition.
• Customer facing experience essential.
• Experience of measurement/assessment in health/fitness or medical environment desirable.
• Accuracy in information recording within clinical guidelines.
• Ability to build rapport and motivate customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the service delivery of Health Assessments to customers.
• Maintain accurate client records and end-to-end processes.
• Promote a healthier lifestyle in line with clinical policies.
• Carry out clinical testing such as body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate, blood tests and audiometry.
• Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques.
• Follow-up calls to support positive change and action plans.
