Harbour Healthcare Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a Clinical Unit Manager to lead a care team and ensure high standards of resident care. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee care planning, and ensure compliance with NMC guidelines.

The role involves assessing client needs, administering medicines, coordinating with relatives and health professionals, delivering training, and maintaining rigorous records. On-site parking and ongoing professional development are provided.

Competenze

• NMC registered nurse with current license.
• Experience supervising care staff.
• Ability to develop and monitor care plans.

• Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain ongoing assessment and review of all other clients.
• Ensure client care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with clients, relatives and other health care professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the company's procedure and NMC guidelines.
• Supervise and instruct junior staff in all aspects of care home operations and provide guidance where needed.
• Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site as required.
• Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and multidisciplinary team; provide administrative support when required.

Your Main responsibilities for being a Nurse are:

Assess all aspects of client's care needs and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.

Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other Clients.

Ensure that Client care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.

Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with Clients personal and financial affairs and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship which exists clients.

Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate.

Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site when required.

Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and with the multidisciplinary team. Provide administrative support when required.
