Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to lead all aspects of a randomised controlled trial of an Investigational Medicinal Product. You will coordinate study set-up, liaise with the Chief Investigator, Sponsor and site staff, and oversee site performance ensuring recruitment and data collection meet protocol and regulatory standards.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to join our supportive team at the UK Clinical Trials Unit Network-registered Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU), where you will be responsible for all aspects of trial management of a randomised controlled clinical trial of an Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) to determine if Hormone Replacement Therapy improves hand joint pain in post-menopausal women with hand osteoarthritis.

Your role will include the coordination of study set-up, liaising closely with the key stakeholders including the Chief Investigator, Collaborators, Sponsor, Funder, Committee and Advisory Group members, and staff at participating sites. You will oversee the progress and performance of investigator sites, including efficient recruitment and reliable data collection by implementing and adapting established ICTU systems to ensure the study is conducted in accordance with contractual agreements, trial protocol, trial-specific processes and systems, SOPs, regulatory and ethical requirements and ICH-GCP guidelines, as well as delivered to time and within budget constraints.

What we are looking for

You will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a biomedical/ scientific field.
• Proven clinical trial experience gained in multi-centre randomised trials, including Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs).
• A willingness to travel within the UK as well as working flexibly outside of office hours on occasion.
