Job summary

The Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre (CCTC) seeks a Database Programmer to design and maintain clinical trial databases in REDCap and MACRO, supporting cancer trials both commercial and non-commercial. You will manage permissions, perform secure data extraction and ensure protocol-required tests are recorded in line with GCP.

Collaborate with scientists, NHS staff and trial managers to optimize data workflows at CUH.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining clinical trial databases.
• Comfort with electronic data capture systems and data security.
• Understanding of GCP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and maintain electronic trial databases (REDCap and MACRO).
• Ensure data integrity and secure data extraction for trials.
• Manage permissions and ensure compliance with GCP guidelines.
• Collaborate with scientists, NHS consultants and trial teams.
