Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire is seeking a Research Information Coordinator to support a Research Delivery Team. The role focuses on data collection, patient recruitment coordination, and timely reporting for clinical studies across Trust sites.

Qualifications

• Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C or 4 or above including Maths & English
• Experience of working in NHS or clinical research is desirable
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office/Google apps
• Ability to retrieve and input data from a variety of sources
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good communication

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection and input of clerical and other data for clinical trial purposes, ensuring data is complete and accurate.
• Liaise with clinical trials units and assist Research Nurses/Coordinators with data queries and reporting within deadlines.
• Maintain trial records across electronic and paper systems and ensure proper documentation.
• Set up and maintain spreadsheets/databases on patient recruitment and report on data collection as required.
• Organise investigations, assessments and clinic appointments per trial protocols.
• Be part of the staff rota for research clinics and be a point of contact for patients.
• Maintain EDGE (Clinical Trials IT system) information.
• Assist with invoicing of patient expenses and ensure timely delivery of samples to laboratories.
