Job summary

Discover International is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Phase I–IV trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors. You will oversee cross-functional teams and manage study timelines from start-up through close-out, ensuring quality, timelines and budget adherence.

The role requires strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU regulations, line management experience, and a proven track record in oncology, rare disease or cardiovascular studies.

Qualifications

• Life sciences degree (or equivalent experience).
• Experience leading clinical trials and cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU trial regulations.
• Strong vendor and budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
• Line-manage CRAs/CRCs, overseeing site monitoring plans and performance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for sponsors, providing status updates and risk escalation.
• Develop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor/CRO oversight plans.
• Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA, and sponsor SOPs.
• Lead site selection, feasibility assessments, and study start-up activities.
• Chair internal and sponsor study team meetings.
