Job summary

Discover International, partnered with a UK-based CRO, is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the operational delivery of Phase I–IV trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors. You will manage cross-functional teams and study timelines from start-up to close-out, ensuring quality, budget compliance, and inspection readiness.

The role requires strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, UK/EU regulations, and experience in oncology, rare disease, or cardiovascular trials.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in clinical trial management in CRO/pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading line management and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU regulations.
• Experience managing budgets and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, delivering on time and on budget.
• Line-manage CRAs/CRCs and oversee monitoring plans.
• Serve as primary sponsor contact, providing updates and risk escalation.
• Develop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor oversight.
• Ensure inspection readiness and sponsor SOP compliance.
• Lead site selection, feasibility, and start-up activities.
• Chair study team and sponsor meetings.
