Job summary

Discover International is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the operational delivery of Phase I–IV trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors. You will manage cross-functional teams and study timelines from start-up through close-out.

You will line-manage CRAs/CRCs, oversee site monitoring, and act as the primary contact for sponsors, providing updates and risk escalation. Strong regulatory knowledge and budgeting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences or equivalent, with relevant CRO/pharma experience.
• 4+ years of clinical trial management in CRO/pharma/biotech.
• Proven line management or mentoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU trial regulations.
• Experience with budgets and vendor management.
• Experience in oncology, rare disease, or cardiovascular trials.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
• Line-manage CRAs/CRCs, overseeing site monitoring plans and performance.
• Primary point of contact for sponsors, providing status updates and risk escalation.
• Develop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor/CRO oversight plans.
• Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA, and sponsor SOPs.
• Lead site selection, feasibility assessments, and study start-up activities.
• Chair internal and sponsor study team meetings.

Key Responsibilities
