Job summary

Nurse Plus UK is seeking a Clinical Trainer to deliver high-quality clinical training across branches in the South/Centrally with regular regional travel. You will equip healthcare and social care staff with practical skills and confidence to provide safe, person-centred care.

Ideally you will hold NMC registration with postgraduate experience, have experience in community and hospital settings, and a track record in training or mentoring others.

Qualifications

  • NMC registration with postgraduate experience.
  • Experience in community and hospital environments.
  • Broad range of clinical experience.
  • Previous experience delivering training or education.
  • Experience mentoring and developing others.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, moving and handling, resuscitation and first aid.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different learners.
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • Teaching or assessing qualification would be an advantage.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver mandatory and non-mandatory clinical training, including Moving and Handling, Resuscitation, PEG Care, Tracheostomy Care, Wound Care, Cannulation and Phlebotomy.
  • Assess practical clinical skills and provide constructive feedback.
  • Adapt training to different learning styles and individual needs.
  • Support the Head of Training and Head of Clinical with training and compliance requirements.
  • Provide coaching and ongoing support to help colleagues build confidence and competence.
  • Promote best practice, safeguarding and continuous professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with learners and branch teams.

Are you an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for developing others?

We're looking for a Clinical Trainer to join the Nurseplus team, delivering high-quality clinical training across our branches in the South/Centrally.
