Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Specialist Technical and Clinical Pharmacist within the Pharmacy Technical Services Unit. The post offers a blended role across Clinical services and Technical aseptic services in a state-of-the-art facility, holding an MHRA Manufacturing Specials license to support in-house and external services.

You will work with the Lead Pharmacist, Chief Technician and the Associate Head of Technical Services to manage Pharmacist roles,

Responsibilities

• Manage Pharmacist-based roles, training, IT systems and professional aspects of the service.
• Supervise rotational pharmacists and pre-registration Pharmacists.
• Contribute to the management and strategic development of the Technical Services for MHRA MS licensed production.
• Support service evolution and training initiatives within the Technical Services Unit.
