Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Ealing in London is seeking a Clinical Team Leader (RMN or RNLD) to oversee Sunrise Ward and ensure the delivery of high-quality care for service users. You will lead the team, guide audits, and support continuous improvement.

You will work 38.5 hours per week across day and night shifts, with a focus on patient recovery, risk management and collaborative care. DBS enhanced checks are required.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience as RMN/RNLD with current PIN
• Lead audits, maintain documentation and quality
• Knowledge of latest nursing practices and risk management

Responsibilities

• Take lead responsibility in undertaking regular care audits
• Provide clinical leadership, coaching & mentoring for the development of services
• Maintain excellence through clinical practice development & quality improvement
• Be responsible for a planned programme of support as per annual Quality & Compliance plan
• Attend training and engage in CPD to promote nursing
• Ensure care plans are complete under NMC guidelines
• Administer medicines within healthcare guidelines

We are looking for a confident Clinical Team Leader (RMN or RNLD) forSunrise Ward, at Cygnet Hospital Ealing, who can inspire, support and oversee the delivery of the very best care.

You will be expected to work 38.5 hours a week (days and night shifts) making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care.

• Day shifts– (7:30am – 8pm)

• Night shifts– (7:30pm – 8am)

Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate wards.

Sunrise Ward at Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a highly specialised eating disorder service for women, including those with extremely low BMIs. We focus on supporting individuals to attain a healthy BMI and prepare for a return to home.

Your day-to-day…

• Take lead responsibility in undertaking regular care audits

• Provide clinical leadership, coaching & mentoring for the development of services

• Maintain excellence through clinical practice development & quality improvement

• Be responsible for a planned programme of support across your area of focus as determined by the annual plan for Quality and Compliance

• Be an active member of clinical working committees relevant to role

• Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing

• Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained

• Administer medicines within healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines

You…

An experienced RMN or RNLD with a current Pin Number, youll have

Essential:

• At least two years experience as an RMN/RNLD

• The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits & demonstrate integrity in your role

• A good understanding of the latest nursing practices

• A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage & reduce risk

• Compassion, resilience & a dedication to empower & support service user independence

Desirable:

• The ability to deputise in a Manager role

• An interest in leadership, research & assessment
