Yorkshire Community Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader to oversee a multidisciplinary clinical team across the region, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care. You will support professional development and lead governance activities.

The role requires 3+ years in complex care with leadership experience, nursing qualification, and active NMC registration. Flexible shifts and leadership duties are expected as part of the service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in complex care with evidence of leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and build relationships with families and partner agencies.
  • Strong clinical skills with knowledge of complex needs including PEG feeding, medication administration and respiratory/airway management.
  • Ability to manage risk, incidents and safeguarding with a calm, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for families, carers and external healthcare professionals, promoting collaborative and holistic care planning.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure clear, timely communication across the team and with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to service development, policy review and quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes for people we support.

Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Clinical Team Leader to join our compassionate team at Yorkshire Community Care. Person Specification
  • Registered healthcare professional qualification relevant to the role (e.g. registered nurse) and current registration with the appropriate regulatory body.

  • Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in complex care, with evidence of leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of complex needs including PEG feeding, medication administration and respiratory/airway management (training can be provided for specific equipment).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead teams and build strong relationships with families and partner agencies.

  • Proven ability to manage risk, incidents and safeguarding concerns with a calm, resilient and proactive approach.

  • Confident in audit, quality assurance and implementing practice improvements.

  • Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs and to provide clinical cover as required, including occasional evenings or weekend duties.
