Willow A is a general medical ward based at the Cumberland Infirmary. The ward has 29 beds and we are looking for enthusiastic clinical support workers who want to come and join our team.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for dedicated and caring health care assistants to come and work within our friendly team. You will assist the nurses and ward staff in the day to day delivery of all care needs to our patients.

Willow A ward is a friendly team of nurses and clinical support workers. who work very closely with all other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

  • Ensure the nutritional needs of the patient are met by assisting them to eat and drink. Also by helping them complete their daily menu card. Be aware of increased nutritional needs.
  • Record accurately nutritional and fluid intake, reporting concerns to Registered Nurse.
  • Supporting patients on the ward with all daily living activities.
  • Ensure privacy and dignity at all times

Qualifications
