Responsibilities

• Carry out instructions from registered professional
• Assist in supervision of other staff as directed
• Carry out duties within core task list without direct supervision
• Report any patient concerns or changes in condition
• Provide high-standard, individualised care under supervision
• Document all care accurately and confidentially
• Prepare patients for treatment or procedures as directed
• Keep clinical areas clean, safe and tidy
• Adhere to infection control procedures and cross infection precautions
• Chaperone or escort patients as needed
• Support relatives with compassion and empathy
• Assist with discharge preparations
• Safekeep patients' property according to policy
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment
