Job summary

Harmless CIC, the national centre for self-harm and suicide prevention, invites applications for a freelance clinical supervisor to deliver supervision to our frontline clinicians.

This SLA-governed role emphasizes governance, safeguarding, records, and quarterly competency reviews. Hours are negotiable with a minimum of 3 hours per week; payment is £50 per 60-minute session or £75 per 90-minute session.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in a relevant clinical discipline.
• Full registration or accreditation with a recognised professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCPC, NMC, or equivalent).
• Recognised formal qualification in Clinical Supervision.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to regular personal clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality assurance, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Provide effective and timely clinical supervision to frontline staff.
• Maintain confidential supervisory records and prepare quarterly reviews.
• Liaise with the Harmless team to arrange sessions.
• Develop reports and supervisee progress against professional frameworks.
