Inomed Neurocare is a leading provider of Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) services, leading the market across the UK. Our mission is to deliver exceptional clinical services to enhance patient safety and surgical outcomes in various types of surgeries, including spinal, brain, and brainstem procedures. Our dedicated team of specialists upholds our commitment to integrity, accuracy, and precision, making us a trusted partner in the healthcare industry. We pride ourselves for our opportunities for continuous learning and professional development in a dynamic and evolving field. We strive to contribute to the highest standards of patient care and surgical success, making a real impact in healthcare.
As a Clinical Specialist or Clinical Specialist Trainee, your primary responsibility will be to monitor the integrity of the patient’s nervous system during various procedures, including neurosurgery, spinal, orthopaedic, vascular and other surgeries. Working closely with the surgical team, you will provide real-time neurophysiological monitoring, promptly identifying and communicating any changes to help guide surgical decisions and minimise the risk of neurological injury. This involves placing needle electrodes on the patient, operating intraoperative neuromonitoring machines to collect and interpret data, and maintaining continuous communication with the surgeon throughout the procedure. You will remain in the operating theatre for the duration of the surgery, ensuring accurate monitoring while also managing pre- and post-operative duties. If joining as a trainee, you will receive full theoretical and practical training, including hands‑on mentoring, seminars, and independent study, to develop the expertise required for this critical role.
You will be responsible for providing services primarily in and around your designated territory depending on your base, and may be required to travel nationally when necessary.
