Clinical Specialist Radiographer - CT

London, The Harley Street Campus
Full time, 37.5 hours per week

3-day, 4-day and 5-day shift patterns will be considered.
Shift times: Shifts vary between 08:00 and 22:00. Overnight & weekend on-call also required.

We're looking for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Imaging team at The Harley Street Campus, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

At The Harley Street Campus, we provide a range of complex care services, specialising in oncology, cardiology and neuroscience. From open heart surgery to pioneering techniques to treat cancer, our clinicians work together to provide the best possible care and treatments for our patients. The CT department at The Harley Street Campus consists of 5 CT scanners across the campus, including 3 Siemens and 2 GE scanners. The department offers a wide range of exams, from MSK and Oncology to Pneumocolon, Interventional radiology, and comprehensive cardiac services. Our team of highly skilled radiographers collaborates with leading sub-specialty consultant radiologists to deliver a five-star patient experience in world-class facilities.

As a Specialist Radiographer, you will focus on providing a customer-focused, high-quality diagnostic radiography service to our patients and service users. You will receive support to ensure that you always deliver the best standard of diagnostic imaging and efficiency.

Duties & responsibilities:

1. Provide a professional standard of excellence in CT services for all patients.
2. Work closely with Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways.
3. Identify ongoing improvements and oversee their implementation as agreed with the line manager.
4. Assist in the day-to-day running of the imaging service.
5. Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties, ensuring timely delivery of verified radiologist reports.
6. Assist with staff orientation and training.
7. Participate in the On-Call rota.

What you'll bring:

• HCPC registered
• CT experience, ideally in the UK
• Extensive post-qualification experience
• High understanding of clinical governance and protocols relating to CT
• Experience in Breast & Gynae imaging is essential
• Experience in IR desirable
• Experience in Cardiac CT desirable
• Experience using GE and Siemens equipment desirable
