A leading company in the orthotic field is seeking a Clinical Specialist Orthotist to manage clinical cases and lead business development in their private service. This role involves training graduate and apprentice Orthotists and participating in research and guideline development, all while utilizing the latest technologies.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust clinical team as a clinical specialist Orthotist and as a clinical lead within Steeper Clinic private service.
As a clinical specialist Orthotist, you will have a wide-ranging clinical caseload including complex treatments such as composite KAFOs, scoliosis bracing, and involvement in MDT clinics within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
As a clinical lead in our private service, you will be directly involved in business development of the private service in the North of England, expanding our existing services and engaging new referrers.
Involvement in developing best practice clinical guidelines, pathway development, research, and audit work will also feature in the role, offering an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical career. As a senior member of the clinical team, you will take an active role in training and developing our graduate and apprentice Orthotists.
As part of the international Eqwal group, you will have opportunities to work with the newest technologies and collaborate with colleagues worldwide.
