Join North Thames Genomics Laboratory as a Clinical Specialist Orthotist/Private Clinic Lead, providing high-quality orthotic care within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Engage in clinical mentorship and lead business developments in private services, while adhering to best practice guidelines in multispecialty teams.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust clinical team as a clinical specialist Orthotist and as a clinical lead within Steeper Clinic private service.
As a clinical specialist Orthotist, you will have a wide-ranging clinical caseload including complex treatments such as composite KAFOs, Scoliosis bracing, and involvement in MDT clinics within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
As a clinical lead in our private service, you will be directly involved in business development of the private service in the North of England, expanding our existing services, and engaging new referrers.
Involvement in the development of best practice clinical guidelines, pathway development, and research/audit work will also feature in the clinical specialist role, offering an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical career. As a senior member of the clinical team, you will take an active role in the training and development of our graduate and apprentice Orthotists.
