Job summary

Galderma is seeking a GAIN Clinical Specialist (Medical Educator) in the United Kingdom (Midlands). The role trains Medical Aesthetic professionals on Galderma’s non-surgical products, ensuring safe and competent use. Travel about 75% nationwide with support to Account Managers and collaboration with the education team.

The ideal candidate will have medical aesthetic qualifications, GMC/NMC/GDC registration, and experience delivering clinical support to healthcare practitioners. ABPI preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical qualifications in non-surgical aesthetic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Identify customers who will benefit from technical/clinical hands-on support and work in clinic with them.
• Provide training on reconstitution, marking up, injection techniques, and follow-up.
• Explain the science and clinical relevance of Galderma products to customers.
• Evaluate readiness of customers for further educational journeys.
• Attend relevant training to maintain product/clinical knowledge at high standards.
• Support Regional Business Managers with product and clinical training.
• Collaborate with the education team to align with UK & Ireland strategy.
• Engage only in on-label discussions and ensure proper professional registration.

Job Title: GAIN Clinical Specialist (Medical Educator)

Location: United Kingdom ( Midlands)

Galderma promotes several products to Medical Aesthetic professionals including a portfolio of botulinum toxins, an injectable biostimulator and a range of facial fillers. It is critical to ensure that our customers are trained appropriately on Galderma’s products, so that they can use them correctly and maintain high standards. The Clinical Specialist’s role is to provide hands-on support to Medical Aesthetic customers across the UK in the use of Galderma’s non-surgical products. This role will ensure that practitioners are competent to use Galderma's range of products safely and effectively. They will support the Account Managers in their designated regions in delivering clinical support to their customers and drive use of our portfolio within those accounts. This is designated as a promotional role.

Travel: 75 % of the Time

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with our sales team, identify customers who will benefit from more technical/clinical hands-on product support and work in clinic with those customers to drive confidence in the use of Galderma’s non-surgical range. Support will be tailored to the needs of the customer, but examples may include: Using the right products for the treatment required, Filler techniques - Needle and cannula, Reconstitution, Hand-on injection techniques.

• Support customers with technical training as it relates to any new product launch (reconstitution., marking up, injection techniques, follow up), AART and HITs adoption.
• Explain the science and associated clinical relevance behind Galderma’s products and articulate the benefits of those products to the customer
• Evaluate if a customer is ready for the next stage of Galderma’s educational journey. This will enable learning at the correct pace for the customer
• Attend any relevant training to keep own product knowledge and clinical knowledge to the highest standards
• Support the Regional Business Managers team with product and clinical training
• Collaborate with the Galderma education team, to ensure they are helping deliver the UK & Ireland strategy in its educational goals
• The clinical specialist is only allowed to engage in on-label discussions and must possess the necessary qualification and requirements to be registered and covered by cosmetic insurance policy.

Skills & Qualifications

• Medical expertise in the field of aesthetic medicine
• Experience in the commercial healthcare sector in delivering clinical support to Healthcare practitioners.
• Excellent knowledge of the aesthetics medical community
• Knowledge of and experience with the Galderma portfolio
• Teaching ability and communication skills
• Competency in performing treatments/procedures with the Galderma products.
• Medical/clinical qualifications in non- surgical aesthetic medicine procedures, Level 7 preferred and/or master’s preferred.
• Valid registration for professional body governing healthcare practitioners (GMC/NMC/GDC)
• ABPI qualification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
