Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist Dietitian to provide support for the clinical leadership of the service. This position is based in Manchester, accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a Clinical Specialist Dietitian, you will work in clinical and service development capacities to ensure patient services are planned, delivered, and evaluated according to evidence-based practices. You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and maintain a robust service.

Main responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to your team using your leadership skills
  • Ensure the effective implementation and management of the dietetic service in collaboration with the team
  • Assess staffing needs, oversee quality management, conduct audits, and deliver training to internal and external groups
Candidate requirements:
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Clinical experience in dietetic services within oncology settings
  • Research or work experience in a specialist area
  • Experience leading a team, workforce planning, and skill mix review
  • Membership with the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
