PROJECTUS in the East of England is seeking an Orthopaedics Clinical Specialist focused on hip and knee procedures. This field-based role supports surgeons and theatre teams with hands-on product guidance, clinical training and technical support.

As a Clinical Support Specialist you will work with surgeons and theatre staff to ensure safe use of innovative orthopaedic technologies. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory are essential. This is not a sales role.

Qualifications

• Scrub nurse, ODP or surgical assistant background.
• Orthopaedic experience highly desirable, particularly hip and knee surgery.
• Confident working in theatre and supporting complex clinical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with surgical teams.
• Curious, proactive and motivated to develop within medical devices.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Support hip and knee orthopaedic procedures across your territory.
• Provide hands-on product and technical support in theatre.
• Train scrub teams, surgeons and wider clinical staff.
• Assist with pre-operative planning and post-operative case support.
• Build strong relationships with theatre teams, clinical stakeholders and internal colleagues.

Position Overview

Are you a scrub nurse, ODP or surgical first assistant with a passion for orthopaedics, particularly hip and knee procedures? Are you looking to take your clinical expertise beyond the theatre and move into the medical device industry?

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a field-based Clinical Support Specialist role, where your knowledge of orthopaedic procedures will directly support surgeons, theatre teams and patient outcomes.

About the Role

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will support the safe and effective use of innovative orthopaedic technologies across hip and knee surgery. You will work closely with surgeons and theatre teams during live procedures, providing hands-on product guidance, clinical training and technical support.

This is not a sales role. It is a highly respected clinical-facing position where your theatre experience, confidence under pressure and understanding of orthopaedic workflows will be highly valued.
