Job summary

CLCH is seeking an experienced Clinical Skills Lead to provide strategic and operational leadership for its Trust-wide clinical skills and simulation portfolio. You will shape education, competency frameworks and learning environments across community and hospital settings, ensuring safety, inclusion and impact.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee governance, and drive improvement through evaluation and collaboration with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with current UK registration relevant to the role.
• Masters degree level or equivalent.
• Recognised teaching, learning, assessment or clinical education qualification.
• Evidence of continuing personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery, governance and evaluation of a high-quality clinical skills programme.
• Translate workforce needs and national priorities into education frameworks and simulation-based learning.
• Provide visible leadership to the clinical skills team and strengthen educator development.
