East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Skills Educator to support the Clinical Skills Activities Team (CAST) within DERI. The post holder will deliver clinical skills training, support the Trust Preceptorship Multi-Professional Programme and provide cross-cover to other clinical teams.

Based in clinical education settings across ELHT sites, you will work with multidisciplinary colleagues, promote education across roles, advise ward managers and educators on skills

Formación

• Competence across a wide range of clinical skills and teaching qualifications.
• Evidence of formal teaching/training experience and post-registration clinical exposure.
• Awareness of educational frameworks and quality improvement standards.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver clinical skills training (e.g. venepuncture, cannulation, IV therapies, ECG).
• Provide annual/periodic reports on courses and progression.
• Support preceptorship and dispersed professional educational programmes.
• Collaborate with ward managers and educators to implement best practices.
