Job summary

King's College London is seeking a part-time Clinical Skills Medical Education Fellow to support undergraduate medical education in clinical skills and simulation. The post holder will deliver clinical practice teaching, assist in designing simulation-based resources, and provide educational support to the Head of Clinical Skills.

The role runs 0.3 FTE, with teaching primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays across Years 1–3, and includes development of e-learning content.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with valid license to practice.
• Completed foundation year programme.
• Broad range of relevant health professional clinical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent team worker.
• Teaching within the healthcare context.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical practice teaching and simulation-based teaching.
• Support design and development of teaching, simulation and e-learning resources.
• Provide continuity of educational and operational support to the Head of Clinical Skills.
• Teach foundation clinical skills in a first-year module and small group sessions for years 2 and 3.
• Facilitate medium and high-fidelity simulation and IPE workshops.
• Support evolving curriculum including e-learning content and OSCE assessment.
