A leading NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated individual to join their trauma and orthopaedic team. The role involves improving patient care, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, and developing education and training initiatives. The trauma and orthopaedic team are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated individual as we continue to develop the service we provide to our patients. The ideal candidate will have an interest in improving patient care within trauma and orthopaedics and actively contribute to the development of education and training for the wider workforce. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to embed high standards of patient care and best practice guidelines. Working with the nursing team, the candidate will develop innovative ideas to improve the patient journey and experience. Support will be provided to develop clinical practice and leadership skills through a bespoke induction and training package.

The candidate will be accountable for their actions in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct and will contribute to corporate objectives, acting within local, trust, and statutory guidelines and policies at all times.
The role involves effectively communicating clinical decisions, policies, and care pathways to patients, carers, and the multi-professional team.
The candidate will act as a skilled practitioner and clinical leader, supporting the management team and participating in service and policy development.
Responsibilities include clinical assessment of patients, managing a team, and ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented, and evaluated or audited.
The role also includes organizing cross-departmental activities, including HR, resource, and stakeholder responsibilities as appropriate.
