Job summary

Keane Premier Support Services South Lanarkshire is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to assist the Care Home Manager with day-to-day operations across Ashton Grange and Greyfriars Care Homes. You will lead the care teams to deliver high-quality resident care in a safe, compassionate environment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive Registered Nurse with strong leadership and regulatory knowledge, PVG and two references required, and the ability to cover nursing shifts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC pin.
  • Senior management or supervisory experience in a care home.
  • SVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Decision making and problem solving across multiple priorities.
  • Compassion, empathy and commitment to resident care.
  • Strong knowledge of care home regulations and inspectors standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the care Home Manager in overseeing all aspects of both care home’s operations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with residents and their families.
  • Ensure team attend training days and keep up with e-learning.
  • Develop, implement and monitor care plans.
  • Help manage and mentor the care team, fostering professional development.
  • Contribute to staff scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families and external agencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports relating to resident care and facility operations.
  • Support budget management and financial resources.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in addressing resident and family concerns with compassion and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations to contribute to continuous improvement.

Job description

Due to restrictions on the number of certificates we can issue at present, candidates without an existing visa or right to work in the UK are unlikely to be suitable for the advertised post.

As the Clinical Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Care Home Manager with day-to-day operations. Your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care, while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents, will be instrumental in our mission to provide exceptional care and support.

The Ideal Candidate would be a proactive individual, with a strong clinical background, and an excellent ability to lead and help manage the two care homes.

This role is supernumerary working across Ashton Grange & Greyfriars Care Home, Nurse cover in the form of covering nursing shifts will be required from time to time to support annual leave cover etc. Flexibility is required over a 7-day period to meet the needs and demands of the service.

Main Responsibilities:
