Job summary

Care Fertility in Manchester is seeking a Clinical Embryologist to contribute to all laboratory activities from oocyte collection to embryo transfer. You will help develop skills across embryology procedures in a supportive, learning-focused environment.

The role offers access to MSc-level pathways, funded external courses, internal training programmes and a clear career progression framework within the UK’s largest private fertility provider.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oocyte collection and sperm preparation and freezing.
• Perform insemination and ICSI, fertilisation and embryo assessment.
• Oversee embryo freezing, transfer and oocyte cryopreservation procedures.
• Engage in biopsy if trained and support related activities.

• - A clear path for career progression, As a Clinical Embryologist, you'll play a vital role in all aspects of laboratory work, including oocyte collection, sperm preparation and freezing, insemination and ICSI, fertilisation and embryo assessment, embryo freezing and transfer, and oocyte cryopreservation all tailored to your level of experience. If you're trained in biopsy, there are opportunities to get involved there, too. If you're not, we will train you.
