Job summary

DAC Beachcroft LLP in Manchester seeks a Solicitor/Associate to join the Clinical Risk team handling defendant clinical negligence cases for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, the MDU, insurers and other healthcare clients.

You will draft documents, negotiate and prepare cases for court deadlines, while delivering practical, commercially focused advice to clients and contributing to knowledge sharing and business development.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical negligence, personal injury or civil litigation.
• Knowledge of insurance law and claims handling is advantageous.
• Ability to mentor and supervise junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Handle a challenging caseload of defendant clinical negligence work for diverse clients.
• Draft legal documents, conduct negotiations and manage court deadlines.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice and client care on a day-to-day basis.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, training, seminars, and business development.
