Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Nurse/Practitioner to recruit and support participants across a broad portfolio of studies. You will collaborate with Nurse Specialists, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Medical Staff and AHPs at North Devon District Hospital and in community settings.

The role involves recruiting to trials, coordinating follow‑ups, and ensuring study delivery adheres to protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, Midwife or Allied Health Professional (AHP) with interest in clinical research.
• Strong IT and communication skills to support participants and teams.
• Ability to work flexibly across hospital and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and support participants across a diverse portfolio of studies and clinical trials.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including Nurse Specialists, ACPs, Medical staff and AHPs.
• Deliver research in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate participant follow‑up appointments and data collection across settings.
