Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Nurse for the Dewerstone Clinical Research Team based at the Exeter site. The role involves recruiting participants, coordinating trials and supporting multidisciplinary teams across RD&E Eastern site and community services.

You will gain experience in clinical research, regulatory compliance and data management while delivering high-quality trial activities and patient care in both hospital and community settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current UK registration.
• Experience coordinating clinical research studies is preferred.
• Ability to obtain informed consent and support trial procedures.
• Proficient in data collection and entry for research datasets.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and support participants across the portfolio.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams across RD&E Eastern site and community services.
• Assist with study procedures, including consent, assessments and data capture.
• Ensure study delivery complies with protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and data management for trials.
