Job summary

Pulse in London is seeking an NMC‑registered Clinical Research Nurse to join a trials team. You will manage participant visits, safety checks, and data entry into source notes and CRFs, while supporting recruitment and ensuring high standards of patient care in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in clinical research, strong clinical assessment skills, and a confident communicator with meticulous documentation ability. NMC PIN is essential for the position.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC PIN.
• A minimum of 3 years experience working in clinical research.
• Strong clinical experience within a patient‑facing environment.
• Excellent clinical assessment and observational skills.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced research setting.
• High attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out participant visits, observations, interventions and safety checks in line with study protocols and SOPs.
• Complete pre‑screen assessments to support strong patient recruitment.
• Build positive relationships that encourage participant engagement and retention.
• Record, verify and enter study data accurately into source notes and CRFs/eCRFs.
• Respond to data queries promptly.
• Maintain a professional, supportive environment for participants and colleagues.
• Participate in MDT meetings.
• Act confidently in emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, critical incidents).
