Job summary

Pulse in Doncaster is seeking a NMC-registered Clinical Research Nurse with at least 3 years of clinical research experience to support innovative trials across multiple therapeutic areas.

You will carry out participant visits, data entry into CRFs/eCRFs, and ensure safety checks per study protocols, while maintaining a patient-focused, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• NMC PIN is required and must be active.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical research.
• Strong clinical skills with patient-facing focus and good observation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out participant visits, observations, interventions and safety checks per protocols.
• Complete pre-screen assessments to support recruitment.
• Build positive relationships to improve engagement and retention.
• Record, verify and enter data into source notes and CRFs/eCRFs.
• Respond to data queries promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a professional environment for participants and colleagues.
• Participate in MDT meetings.
• Respond confidently in emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis).

Hourly Pay Rate: £25 - £30 per hour

What You'll Do

• Complete pre-screen assessments to support strong patient recruitment
• Build positive relationships that encourage participant engagement and retention
• Record, verify and enter study data accurately into source notes and CRFs/eCRFs
• Respond to data queries promptly
• Maintain a professional, supportive environment for participants and colleagues
• Participate in MDT meetings
• Act confidently in emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, critical incidents)

What you will bring

• Valid NMC PIN
• A minimum of 3 years experience working in clinical research
• Strong clinical experience within a patient-facing environment
• Excellent clinical assessment and observational skills
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research setting
• High attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
